Wind gusts can be 40 percent stronger than the averages given here, and maximum
waves may be up to twice the height.
Vigorous westerly flow developing the far southwest.
Bounded by 46S080E 46S086E 49S094E 50S094E 50S080E 46S080E.
W quarter winds 30/40 knots developing after 020600UTC, extending to southwest
of a line 47S080E 48S085E 50S087E by 021200UTC and throughout by 021800UTC.
Rough to very rough seas. Moderate to heavy swell.
Shoalhaven Council is staunchly defending its management of local waterways during floods across the region in August.
Producers are being urged to keep a look out for Pimelea as there have been recent reports of the weed in parts of western and southern inland Queensland.
