SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING - DARWIN CITY
and OUTER DARWIN


Issued at 5:57 pm Friday, 17 March 2017.

Severe thunderstorms in the warning area have temporarily eased. Further severe
thunderstorms are still possible. The situation is being closely monitored and
further detailed warnings will be issued as necessary.

The next warning is due to be issued by 7:00 pm.

A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for the Daly, Arnhem
and parts of the Carpentaria and Gregory districts.

Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's
website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 214. The Bureau and Northern
Territory Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
