Alpine forecast

There are some flurries on the way, but it is panning out to be few and far between cold fronts after that.

The airmass is now cold enough for the next few days to make any showers fall as snow, unfortunately there is not a lot of moisture around. However, it might be the right conditions to get the snow guns out. Snow looks to be around 10cm all up for the resorts, mainly favouring the NSW side.

This weekend looks great for hitting the slopes, with sunny skies under a big high. Winds will be light and visibility will be excellent.

The next system to come through looks to contain more rain than snow unfortunately.

In the second week, the chances of snow look to be few and far between.
