Alpine forecast

After fresh powder at the start of the week, a significant follow up dump is set to fall on Wednesday with 10-20cm falling to 1100 metres.

Skies will gradually clear up on Thursday with blue bird days set for Friday and Saturday, probably the best two days to hit the slopes with light winds and fresh powder.

A series of weak cold fronts will brush the Alps in the second week bringing the risk of snow showers each day although falls should only be light.
