Alpine forecast

Its a great week to hit the slopes after fresh powder arrived on Monday. Snow will come in another significant burst on Wednesday, with another 10-20cm likely across the resorts.

Skies will clear and winds will become light during Thursday, with blue bird days forecast for Friday and Saturday. Even Sunday will be an excellent day on the slopes despite some cloud cover.

From Monday 10th a longwave trough will develop, sending a series of weak fronts across the Alps throughout the second week. Most of the fronts will be weak, just bringing a few centimetres every couple of days.
