Snow Resort Cams - Weather Now

Alpine 14 Day Weather Commentary

Short periods of rain, with snow on the peaks will continue into Friday, but a strong front with plenty of snow is looming next week.

Unfortunately there will be a bit of rain moving through at times until Saturday on the lower slopes, but thankfully the peaks will keep getting snow. The rain won't be all that heavy so there shouldn't be much damage to the runs.

From early on Sunday we are looking at morning temperatures dropping well below freezing again, letting the snow guns create a powdery top to the brilliant snow base. Skiing conditions will be pretty good with light winds and a bit of extra sunshine.

The next front should arrive around Thursday 31st July with a few showers ahead and plenty of snow behind it. By the time people are hitting the slopes on the first weekend in August they will be celebrating fresh snow with one or two bluebird days.

Issued Thursday 14:35
