Snow Resort Cams - Weather Now

Alpine 14 Day Weather Commentary

The sun is shining and it is a great time to be out and about the slopes.

A low and trough will swing around to the resorts late on Thursday. There is only a very small pool of cold air wrapped up in the low, so snowfalls will be very minimal and mostly confined to the upper peaks. This will bring a day or two of slushy skiing.

After this, the sun will return around Sunday 27th. The next front won't pack much of a punch, with only a few centimetres of snow in it at this stage. This snowfall will be largely confined to the higher parts, accompanied with some gusty winds.

Towards the end of the fortnight, the snow-bearing fronts appear to be keeping away from the Alps as a large high takes residence over the southeast.

Issued Tuesday 14:50
