Snow Resort Cams - Weather Now

Alpine 14 Day Weather Commentary

Make the most of today, as its about to get a whole lot windier for the remainder of the working week as a number of cold fronts impact the nation's southeast.

Tomorrow will be one of the windiest of the week, with wind gusts likely to exceed 100km/h about the peaks, so be safe if you intend to head out. It will be a little less windy on Wednesday, however it will still lead to not so ideal boarding and skiing conditions due to blowing snow. A few showers will also accompany the winds, although most resorts will be too warm for any snow with the showers only causing slushy conditions.

If you wanted to take a rest day Thursday will be the day to do it as it will be the wildest of the week with wind gusts reaching up to 120-130km/h about the upper resorts.

Showers at least in the earlier part of the day will enhance slush, however by the late evening this will turn to a solid dump of snow, which will persist into Friday, which will lead into a fantastic weekend to head on the slopes.
