Future developments

This trial service is still under development so we are interested to hear your feedback on what you would like to see added to the service. Items under development include marine, warnings, climate information, lightning tracker and synoptic charts. The intention is to split this trial WAP site into two services, a basic free service and an enhanced service for Weatherzone Silver members.

Mobile Phone Handset compatibility

At this time we cannot provide compatibility information. It is our experience that this service will run on any WAP enabled mobile phone. In due course we expect to be able to provide a full list of compatible handsets for this service.

Accessing the trial service

Weatherzone mobile is accessible to any colour capable mobile phone. If you do not know how to access WAP sites on your mobile, please contact your carrier's customer service and they will take you through the procedure.

To access the service from your phone browse to http://wap.wz.com.au. If you use the Opera web browser you can preview the site directly from your browser. Alternatively try the WAP simulator www.wapsilon.com to test out the site.
