Western Australia North Infrared Satellite/Lightning
Western Australia Satellite Notes
Thick cloud over northwestern inland WA with a trough is producing rain and storms. Patchy cloud elsewhere in the north with another trough is triggering storms. Cloud psread across southern and central southern WA with a pair of weak troughs is delivering showers.
The southeast corner of Queensland will enter autumn longing for rain and cooler temperatures after enduring its hottest summer on record.
Some $140 million will be spent on flood mitigation in Adelaide's inner-south and south-west over the next 20 years after an agreement between the State Government and five local councils.
Perth is enjoying a warm and dry end to what has otherwise wet and relatively cool summer.
