Cloud clipping southwest WA with an approaching cold front is bringing showers. Patchy low cloud over southeast SA, southwest VIC and western TAS with a westerly flow is producing isolated showers. Bright cloud within a low off the NSW coast is triggering thundery showers.
The big chill has hit Queensland's south-east coast, which was colder this morning than the Granite Belt and Darling Downs.
After a few cold mornings, the cold days have now started in the ACT.
Snow has fallen across large parts of NSW, including the Blue Mountains, parts of the NSW Central Tablelands, and in the Barrington Tops National Park near Gloucester.
