Australia Satellite Notes
Thick cloud over SA, VIC and TAS with a gusty cold front is triggering squally showers. High cloud over southern parts of the NT and QLD is due to the jetstream and is not producing any rain. Low cloud in the southwest with onshore winds are bringing showers, mainly coastal.
For many Tasmanians it will be no surprise the heavy rains since the beginning of May have set a new three-month record, before the end of the period.
Damaging winds are forecast to affect Victoria for the second time in two days as a cold front moves into the Bight.
A flood watch is current in the Mount Lofty Ranges near Adelaide as another cold front approaches the region.
