Australia Satellite Notes
Cloud stretching from WA to QLD along a trough is generating patchy rain and the odd thunderstorm. Cloud over SA, VIC and TAS with a powerful front is producing showers. Bright-looking cloud over northern Australia in a region of low pressure is triggering thundery showers.
A severe weather warning has been issued for Victoria, with winds of up to 100 kilometres per hour predicted.
Summer-like conditions continue to infiltrate into the Queensland autumn.
On the weekend wild winds battered South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, toppling trees and bringing down powerlines and there is more of that on the way.
