Extensive cloud over Australia with a series of low pressure troughs is triggering storms throughout WA, SA, NSW, QLD and the NT with showers in VIC and TAS. Thick cloud in the north with a deepening monsoon trough and developing low is producing heavy rain.
Territorians should brace themselves for a very wet week, with rainfalls of up to 300 millimetres expected in some areas.
