Thick cloud over central QLD in an active trough is generating areas of heavy rain and a few storms, leading to flooding. Cloud over southern QLD and northern NSW in a weaker trough is causing rain. Patchy cloud on the NSW coast in onshore winds is bringing the odd, light shower.
