Australia Satellite Notes
Cloud is extending across southern parts of Australia in a broad trough, causing areas of rain and showers, with storms over WA, isolated elsewhere. Bright-looking cloud over northern QLD and parts of the Top End in a monsoon trough is bringing heavy rain and a few storms.
Heavy rain has fallen over Queensland's far north and there is more tropical activity on the cards this week.

While thundery clouds and showers are clearing over South Australia over the weekend, more rainfall is headed to the southern and southeastern parts of the country early next week.
