Thick cloud over WA and western SA with a low pressure trough and cold front is causing showers and the odd thunderstorm. Patchy cloud over southern VIC and TAS in the wake of front is bringing some brisk showers. Skies are clearer over the NT and QLD under a high pressure ridge.
