Thick cloud covering southern parts of the NT with a low pressure trough is causing areas of rain. Patches of bright-looking cloud over the Top End is a region of low pressure is triggering showers and thunder, heaviest along the coast.
Hobart woke up to a chilly surprise this morning, with a light covering of snow dusting Mt Wellington and Miena.
