People have taken to social media to share their experiences of the flood disaster affecting Queensland and New South Wales.
The bad weather has headed south, with thousands of people cut off by floods in northern NSW and the town of Grafton facing major flooding.
Bundaberg is Queensland's hardest hit city and remains in the grip of its worst flood on record.

Several significant cold snaps in July were the only remarkable weather events in what the Bureau of Meteorology has labelled an average winter.
Much of the state has seen great rainfall over winter, with only the north and central coast missing out.
Snow has fallen in Western Australia's Stirling Ranges, including Bluff Knoll, for the second time in a matter of weeks, after a chilly night in the Great Southern.
