The New South Wales State Emergency Service (SES) says it has received more than 100 calls for assistance today because of continuing wild weather.
In the past 36 hours, strong winds have brought down trees and damaged houses while snow has blocked some roads in the Blue Mountains and Central West.
Phil Campbell from the SES says the wild weather is set to continue.
"With further strong winds predicted this afternoon, we're asking people to ensure they park their cars under cover, not under a tree," he said.
"Also to secure those loose items around the yard that could cause possible damage or risk possible injury."
