Weekend change cools southeast
Ben Domensino

Adelaide, Melbourne and Hobart have all started the second last weekend of autumn with showers and a cool change.
A weak front swept over the three state capital cities during Saturday morning, bringing showers and a cooler air mass.
Adelaide received 5mm of rain in just 10 minutes at the airport before sunrise, while Melbourne and Hobart also recorded precipitation before 9am. The heaviest falls were is western Tasmania, where Mount Read collected 40mm.
Cool air in the wake of this morning's front will restrict temperatures today and over the remainder of the weekend.
Melbourne is expected to have its coldest day of the past week, reaching a high of 16 degrees today. Overnight the mercury should dip to around eight degrees. Adelaide residents might also need an extra blanket on the bed tonight, with a low of just seven degrees predicted.
Hobart will fail to climb above 15 degrees this weekend, although showers should stay clear of Tasmania's capital on Sunday.
