After a good soaking, there is more rain ahead for Western Australia's Pilbara and Gascoyne. Overnight, thunderstorms clustered around western parts of the state, with 121mm landing in the bucket at Mingah Springs. Other notable totals included Marble Bar picking up 73mm, with 16mm falling in ten minutes. Paraburdoo recorded 54mm, which is the heaviest 24 hour rain in three years. A low pressure trough which is bringing the stormy conditions is likely to very slowly move north while continuing to draw in tropical moisture. From Carnarvon to Broome, showers and storms are likely to deliver 25-50mm over the next few days. Due to several days of rain, flood warnings are now in place for the Gascoyne, Greenough, Irwin, Pilbara and De Grey River Catchments.
