Good falls of snow this week are paving the way for a big influx of skiers in the Snowy Mountains.
Thredbo resort is reporting 15 centimetres of fresh snow, bringing the week's total to more than 40 centimetres.
Spokeswoman Susie Diver says the dumps have come just in time, with school holidays beginning this weekend.
She says there is even more snow on the way.
"We've had good falls of snow across the Snowy Mountains this week," she said.
"We managed to open more runs. It's going to be very busy across all resorts I think over the next couple of weeks, especially with school holidays, so it was a very timely snowfall we had.
"The weather forecasters are actually calling for a very snowy July and they do say from the 7th to the 12th of July we can expect more good falls across the alps and we've got our fingers crossed that eventuates."
