Storms cut power to south-east homes

SA Power Network crews after working to restore power to more than 1,000 homes in south-east South Australia.

Many residents are without power after storms overnight.

Nearly 800 Port MacDonnell residents are without electricity, as well as residents in Allendale East, Salt Creek, Mount Schank and Eight Mile Creek.

It is expected all homes will have power restored by lunchtime.
