Storms cut power to south-east homesTuesday November 27, 2012 - 14:06 EDT
SA Power Network crews after working to restore power to more than 1,000 homes in south-east South Australia.
Many residents are without power after storms overnight.
Nearly 800 Port MacDonnell residents are without electricity, as well as residents in Allendale East, Salt Creek, Mount Schank and Eight Mile Creek.
It is expected all homes will have power restored by lunchtime.

Residents in the South Australian towns of Virginia, Lewiston and Port Wakefield had a brief reprieve from the rain overnight but they have been warned further flooding is possible later this afternoon.
The South Australian towns of Virginia and Port Wakefield are under threat from floodwaters as the Gawler and Wakefield rivers burst their banks, with warnings more rain is on the way.
About 9,000 properties remain without power in Perth and Western Australia's south-west as conditions ease across the state after damaging winds brought down trees and debris.
