SE Qld expecting fine weather tonight

Sunday November 23, 2008 - 18:06 EDT

After a week of wet and wild weather south-east Queensland has been spared another night of destructive storms.

Craig Mitchell from the Bureau of Meteorology says it will be fine across the region tonight.

"It's just so dry it's taken us back probably more so towards a winter type pattern at the moment - sort of very dry conditions, probably a little bit warmer that winter however," he said.

"But no rain whatsoever is expected around south-east or southern parts of Queensland on the basis it's so dry and the actual dry and fine conditions will also continue into tomorrow as well."
