Regions share in flood funding
Wednesday July 11, 2012 - 13:44 EST
A number of communities in southern Western Australia will get natural disaster funding after heavy rainfall caused flood damage on the south coast.
The harsh weather lashed the south coast on the last day of May, causing widespread damage to road networks.
Walpole received more than 93 millimetres of rain.
The City of Albany and the shires of Denmark, Jerramungup and Manjimup will each get money to repair roads and local and State Government-owned property.
The assistance is jointly funded by state and federal governments.
