Rain eases Cassowary Coast water bansFriday January 25, 2013 - 12:44 EDT
The Cassowary Coast Regional Council has lifted water restrictions in the wake of the region's flooding rain.
The council imposed level one restrictions in October, limiting sprinkler use, car and boat cleaning and hosing paved areas.
Permanent restrictions on sprinklers remain in place.
The Cairns Regional Council also lifted water restrictions this week.
