Rain eases Cassowary Coast water bans

Friday January 25, 2013 - 12:44 EDT

The council imposed level one restrictions in October, limiting sprinkler use, car and boat cleaning and hosing paved areas.

Permanent restrictions on sprinklers remain in place.

The Cairns Regional Council also lifted water restrictions this week.
