More wild weather is predicted to hit SA. - ABC

More damaging winds are expected to hit tonight, as a second cold front moves through the state.

This morning winds of up to 90 kilometres per hour swept through the Yorke Peninsula and the Mount Lofty Ranges.

The weather bureau says a second round of similar winds will sweep southern parts of the state after 6:00pm.

Duty forecaster Alan Beattie says after tonight weather conditions are expected to ease.

"Things will start easing off tomorrow, so with that second front through expecting a high to start moving to the Bight and with that the winds and showers will ease," he said.
