Mather wins sixth term as Buloke mayorMonday November 12, 2012 - 11:35 EDT
Reid Mather has been elected to lead the Buloke Shire for the next year.
This will be his sixth term as mayor, his last time in the position was three years ago.
Councillor Mather says completing flood recovery work will be one of the top priorities.
"We've still got ... people [with flood damage] in some parts of our shire," he said.
"We have a significant contract for the flood restoration of roads, so that will need to be managed by councillors very closely, that is all but ready to start."
Cr Mather says he is looking forward to working with his fellow councillors.
"A great group of people, really looking forward to working together and doing the best we can to improve the shire and listen to what the people of the shire tell us," he said.
