Golf club flags flood fix funds

Monday July 9, 2012 - 08:58 EST

The Stawell Golf Club will get about $230,000 for repairs after floods in January last year.

The Victorian Government grant will pay for repairs to the club's car park and crossings over the creek that run through its course.

The creek overflowed when about 1.5 metres of water rushed through it in the summer flood.

The club says the grant will also help to prevent further flood damage.
