Thick fog caused flight delays at Adelaide Airport - ABC

There has been fog over much of Adelaide, delaying some flights at the airport at West Beach.

John McArdle from Adelaide Airport warned passengers to check with their airlines about any flight disruptions.

"Some were delayed early when the fog was thick, then it cleared so they caught up, then the fog rolled back in again so it's sort of on and off at the moment down there," he said.

The fog led to some flight diversions to Melbourne.

The weather bureau issued a road weather alert for Adelaide and the hills.

Temperatures have not been as cold as two days ago, when it got as low as about 1 degree Celsius at the airport.
