Flood fix to delay highway traffic

Wednesday June 27, 2012 - 08:38 EST

VicRoads says motorists will face slight delays on the Western Highway near Nhill as flood recovery works begin this week.

The road authority says work will begin at four separate sites at Gerang Gerung and Kiata to repair flood damaged drainage culverts.

VicRoads says motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes and traffic will be reduced to one lane.

The repair works are expected to be completed by the end of July.
