Falls Creek gets its first snowfall for 2014By Paul Higgins, ABC weather presenter., Wednesday April 30, 2014 - 19:36 EST
It is not hard to notice the seasons are changing, especially when Falls Creek gets its first snowfall of the year.
There was a dusting of snow to get the ground nice and cold.
And that should help set things up for when the bigger falls arrive.
In fact more snow is expected.
This morning's fall is just one of a series of three coming through.
The is predicting snowfalls on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but there will also be some rain.
The BOM is predicting showers and rain falling as snow above 1300 metres on Friday.
There are similar forecasts for the weekend.
