Down and up in the south

Down and up in the south
Adelaide is riding the spring temperature see-saw this week. The city's minimum temperature this morning was 4.9 degrees, seven below average and the equal coldest October morning in 11 years. The mercury plummeted as clear skies and light winds allowed yesterday's heat to radiate away from the ground overnight. While the chilly night was cause for an extra blanket, things will be feeling very different tomorrow. Adelaide is forecast to reach close to 30 degrees on Thursday afternoon, about 25 degrees warmer than it was this morning. If it reaches 29 degrees it will be the warmest day in six months. A front front will drop the temperature once again on Thursday evening, although it won’t be as cold as light night. Friday morning is tipped to reach a minimum of seven degrees before climbing to the mid-teens on Friday afternoon.
