Deadline looms for flood aid

Moira Shire and Greater Shepparton residents are being reminded they have until today to lodge their claims for Commonwealth support after this year's floods.
The Disaster Recovery Payment scheme provides $1,000 for eligible adults and $400 for each child.
Residents in the Indigo and Towong local government areas have until October 11 to lodge their claims.
