Adelaide will flick between mild and cool days this week as a series of fronts push through, bringing showers.
Today will cap off a run of cool days in Adelaide with a top of 15 degrees and the odd shower. This will complete a run of six days that failed to reach 16 degrees.
Tomorrow will tell a different story as the mercury will surge to 18 degrees despite the mostly cloudy sky.
Early on Tuesday morning a front will arrive bringing a cooler day again, with a few showers. However the cool temperatures won't last long as a warmer air mass pushes in on Wednesday helping the day reach 18 degrees again. During the afternoon or evening another cold front will arrive bringing showers and another cool change.
Thursday could be quite a cold day with showers and cloud keeping a lid on temperatures. Most of the day will be closer to 12 or 13 degrees.
Friday and the rest of the weekend will see an end to fluctuating temperatures with a return to more consistent and near average August weather.
