A pair of troughs extending over northern WA, the NT, QLD and NSW are triggering areas of patchy rain and thunderstorms, some severe. A cold front is causing showers in VIC and TAS. Onshore winds are triggering coastal showers in SA. A high in the west is keeping most of WA dry.
